Relax & Rewind

Turning back time: a power we can fully possess within the realm of moving pictures. With the remote in our hands, we are given this magnificent gift. Whether it's returning to an instance of comedic gold or just simply that part of the movie you dozed off during, there's always that glorious ◂ button there by your side. Thankfully, Heartland Film is giving us an opportunity of similar proportions.

From June 26-28, the nonprofit arts organization will be showcasing standout films from past Heartland Film Festivals at its inaugural Summer Rewind Mini-Fest. In addition to 17 screenings at two separate Fountain Square theater locations, Heartland Film has invited nine independent filmmakers from past festivals back to the city to discuss their works with moviegoers.

Oh rewind. What would we do without you?
