A Letter from Fred

If you have doubts about life-long love, this video may set you straight. 96 year-old Fred Stobaugh penned a song sitting home, alone, a month after his wife had passed and he saw an ad in the newspaper for Green Shoe Studio's singer-songwriter contest. Not confident in his singing abilities, he mailed his song in a manila envelope and assumed he wouldn't hear back.

But his story touched the people at the studio and so they called Fred up and offered to professionally record the song for free. The video below documents the story. Watch it, and once you are done sniffling, you can purchase the song on iTunes or Google Play and listen to it over and over it again until you run out of tissues.
