100 Pounds of Rice 

If self-portraits are meant to capture what you are made of, Japanese artist Saeri Kiritani has decided she is made of rice. Representing this idea literally using rice and Elmer's glue, Kiritani's latest piece has been chosen to exhibit in the Smithsonian National Portrait Competition 2013 exhibition.
