SoBro Open Studio Preview

A bit too far south for the Broad Ripple Gallery Tour and more than a little bit north to be a part of IDADA's First Friday efforts, the 15-plus artists at the 2000 block of East 54th Street tend to do things a bit differently. And this Saturday is no different. The members of the self-formed collective known as "SoBro Arts" will open up their studios to share their artwork covering a range of media -- paintings, fiber, mixed media, ceramics and photography. Before you visit their cozy workspaces to not only see pieces but also get a behind-the-scenes view of their creative approaches, click through this preview from several of the participating artists.

The SoBro Arts Spring Studio Tour takes place from 4 to 8 p.m. between 2060 and 2070 East 54th Street. Participating artists include:

Building 2060
#3 Lauren Zoll, contemporary art
#8 Artemesia: Beth McCormick, Amelia Rose, Kathy Norris, Gayle Gingrich, and Gayle Williams, oil paintings
