Graphite is a highly versatile element and is used in everything from pencils to batteries. So now the IMA is presenting a special exhibition called Graphite to show off all the different ways artists can work with this medium. Artist T.R. Ericcson uses powdered graphite in a technique similar to silk screening to create smoky images.
