Penning 2016

With 2016 just days away, many of our are looking to create those New Year's Resolutions. Personally, I've always found that term to be kind of hollow. Instead, I like to think of it as a time to learn a new discipline.

I have asked Santa to bring me a Virtues Journal by the Art of Manliness, and to go along with that, I have set out to learn the new discipline of bettering my handwriting, as well as writing more letters. Did you notice how all of those skills tie in to doing more handwriting, as opposed to keyboard writing?

In 2016, take some time to sit down and write someone a letter.

At any rate, the art of handwriting has kind of fallen by the wayside. I know my preference is to type, because I can get the thoughts out of my mind and on to the page faster; but is that always a good thing?

Brett and Kate McKay share their thoughts on How and Why to Improve Your Cursive Penmanship in 2016. So how about it? Care to join me in learning, or relearning, this discipline in 2016?
