Lights, Camera ... Party!

On Saturday evening, Indy's indie movie lovers gathered at the Indianapolis Museum of Art for the midwestern premiere of Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter and the "Best of the Fest" awards reception.

In addition to honoring a number of films, partygoers had the chance to mingle with directors, writers and producers, as well as enjoy snacks, beer from festival sponsor Sun King Brewing Company and music mixed by an on-site deejay. Sky Blue Window's Whitney Walker was in attendance, capturing the festivities and the quirky fest's culture.

Bluebird for best American spectrum feature and the Grand Jury prize; Beyond All Boundaries for best "matter-of-fact" feature; You'll Be A Man for best world cinema feature. Shorts winners included Confusion Through Sand in American spectrum, Tarzan & Arab in matter-of-fact and Grand Canal in world cinema. View screening times at the Indy Film Fest website.
