Conversation with a Curator

Lisa Freiman has been curating the top floor at the IMA for 10 years now. Many people find contemporary art too abstract and dismiss it quickly. But Lisa loves contemporary art because the artists are alive and their art tells the story of our time and the issues we are dealing with now. Contemporary art really invites the viewer to think critically.
