Pamela Mougin was an artist, model and photographer who had impeccable taste, both in front of the camera and behind it. But her eye for quality didn’t
stop there. It extended into her love for fashion, photography equipment, home decor and more.
On April 16-19, you can purchase pieces from Mougin’s vast collection during the Pamela Mougin Estate Sale at Picasso Event Facility.
Hosted by Mougin’s niece, Paris J. Proctor, and friend, Murph Damron, the estate sale will feature everything from shoes to accessories, hats, clothing,
theatrical costumes, art supplies, vintage apparel and pieces from top designers, including John Paul Gautlier, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli and Giuseppe

The late Pamela Mougin, a former model, garnered her own fame as a celebrity and fashion photographer.
More than an estate sale, the event will be a gathering with a cause. Proceeds will benefit the Pamela Mougin Memorial Fund, says Proctor. The fund helps support A Touch of Heart, Inc., a nonprofit that encourages people to exercise their personal skills and abilities through various service programs locally, nationally and internationally.
Proctor established A Touch of Heart shortly after the death of her aunt.
Mougin, an Indianapolis native, died in 2013 at age 44. She was renowned for her celebrity photographs and her paintings of “The West Baden Angels,” which are
on permanent display at the Bona Thompson Memorial Center.
The sale, which also features men’s, women’s and children’s clothing/costumes in a range of sizes, kicks off at 6 p.m. Thursday (April 16) with a $25 per person premiere opening that will feature light hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar.
Damron says Thursday night attendees get first chance to purchase some of the amazing items from Mougin's private collection.
“Come shop, have a cocktail or a glass of wine, then go back and shop again,” she says.

The Mougin Studio Wardrobe includes rare collectable pieces, such as a vintage Michael Jackson-themed studded jacket (left), and a Skull rosary with onyx beads and traditional cross by King Baby.
